Eligibility
Athletes must:
- Be enrolled in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade
- Attend Lakeview Middle School
Roster spots may be made available, at the Soccer Director’s discretion, for students whose school does not offer a middle school soccer team. Priority is given to Lakeview students.
Program Structure
- This is a club sport operated by the Lakeview Youth Association in affiliation with the Lakeview School District.
- Transportation: Families are responsible for transportation to and from all practices and games. No bussing is provided.
- Liability: LYA and Lakeview Schools are not responsible for injuries or harm resulting from participation.
- Media Use: LYA and LMS may take photos for promotional use on social media, the school district website, and the school yearbook.
Team Formation
- We plan to field one team per season
- A second team may be formed if registration numbers allow
Time Commitment
Practices
- 2–3 days per week before games begin
- Scheduled immediately after school on nearby school property
Games
- Approximately 2 games per week once the season starts
- 1–2 practices per week during the game season
Duration
- Practices and games typically last 1.5–2 hours
- Games are played on weekdays at local schools, generally within a 45-minute drive

LYA/LMS Soccer is always looking to strengthen its coaching team.
