Our Commitment to Every Athlete
Lakeview Youth Association offers rocket football for children in grades 3-6 that attend Lakeview Schools or Battle Creek area charter, private, or homeschools. Each season, student athletes are given an opportunity to play and enjoy the game of football. Each player is provided a full uniform and protective player equipment to use for the season. LYA provides dedicated coaches to assist their development and growth in the sport.
The player's families are always welcome and are invited to the games free of charge.
Requirements for Practice
A player must come to practice ready to work hard with a good attitude. Make sure you bring plenty of water and all equipment needed to play as determined by coaching staff.
Requirements for Game Days and Events
A player will not be able to participate on a game day or event if they are not outfitted in the proper uniform attire which includes:
Helmet with mouth guard
Game Jersey, pants, socks and cleats
No jewelry (excluding medical alerts)
**It is Highly recommended to have your athlete wear an athletic cup due to the rough nature of the game**
All LYA fields are to be free of smoking, drinking alcohol, and drugs.
NO pets allowed at LYA fields.
Parents (or designated adult) are required to stay onsite during all practices, games, and events. This is non-negotiable due to safety and liability concerns.
